What’s the issue?Unfortunately, not everyone in the world has access to essential dental products that many of us take for granted. And flawed mouth hygiene can lead to infections, sicknesses, and problems. How are we helping? That’s why we’ve partnered with the charity Global First Responder to provide dental products to those in need. We want to help put smiles on the faces of people everywhere, so for each dental product sold, we’ll donate another toothbrush to people in need.

This product is not yet part of agood loop. But the toothbrush and toothbrush head can live a second life as a cleaning utensil in the bathroom or kitchen. After that, the handle can be composted, while the bristles have to be disposed of as waste-to-energy or in plastic recycling.
Dental floss can be composted and the sweet little glass container can easily be refilled with new floss from agood company.
This product is meant to be used daily. You might want to change your toothbrush every month or every other month to guarantee best results and highest hygiene levels.
We’ll always explain the climate impact of our products to help you make informed decisions. Below, we’ve listed materials, production, logistics, and end-to-life calculations. All data is verified by ClimatePartner. If there’s anything you don’t understand, don’t hesitate to ask.
End of life
The toothbrush handle is made from 100% bamboo with medium Tynex 612 bristles.
In the factory, they initially made the toothbrushes by hand, but now they’ve automated parts of the process. They first steam the bamboo to dry it and to remove parasites. Next, they cut the bamboo into strips and mould the strips into shape. After that, they sand the bamboo handles to make them smooth. Finally, they bore small holes into the head, attach the nylon bristles and package the toothbrushes.
Our toothbrush handle can be thrown on your compost, but the bristles need to be disposed of either as waste-to-energy or in plastic recycling.
it's great that it's made from bamboo, and that the packaging is made of paper. although it fitted my Oral-B toothbrush handle, in a few days it started slipping away during brushing. had to fix it with a piece of paper, to tighten the connection. now it works just fine. the head moves differently from the original ones, which are rotating, but the feeling is nicer with this one.
Global First Responder is a non-profit that provides medical and dental care to street children in Senegal. AGoodCo donated all of the toothbrushes we needed and more for the 900 children we will provide dental care for in September!!!!! This donation allows us to care for even more children than originally planned! We will fill cavities, perform ultrasonic cleanings, provide extensive education on oral hygiene, and give the children specialty medical care while we are in Senegal. We will post photos of the toothbrushes in action in just a few weeks! Thank you to everyone at this GREAT company (and we planted some trees too!)
Works as it should, very happy with it.
I bought a toothbrush in every color! I love using a bamboo toothbrush that won’t be around for hundreds of years!
Eco-friendly products are not hard to find today, they are really an easy switch that makes a difference. The easiest step to start is finding products that contain plastic (this will be the majority of your products), products like toothbrushes, hair bands, or toilet paper with plastic packaging. By making this switch to plastic-free products, you reduce the number of single-use plastics that you consume!
The amount of pollution will be reduced due to the reduction of raw materials used, as well as the amount of waste created and then sent to landfill. Microplastic pollution will decrease, sadly you can now find microplastics all the way from the deepest parts of the oceans to the summit of Mount Everest. Lastly, the amount of carbon dioxide emitted into the atmosphere will reduce, as the majority of plastic is produced using non-renewable fossil fuels. Switching to products like our phone cases will reduce the amount of petroleum-based plastics.
Making small changes to your daily habits can really make a difference, so why not focus on one room at a time? The first tip is to reduce your shower time, reducing your water and energy consumption. Whilst you are waiting for your bath or shower to warm up, you can collect the cold water and use it for something else, like cleaning your dishes or watering your plants.
Switch to bamboo products like our sustainable electric toothbrush head or our normal bamboo toothbrush. You can pick your color and choose to engrave your initials on your toothbrush, adding a personal touch to your bathroom. To add to your dental care, you can opt for our plastic-free dental floss, made from 100% corn. Reduce your water consumption by switching to our bamboo toilet paper! Worldwide we flush away 30,000 trees a day as toilet paper, think about the trees, and choose sustainably harvested bamboo.
Nope! For our toothbrushes, we individually pack them with bamboo paper using naturally occurring colors. For our outer packaging, we use a stone paper envelope. So no need to produce or waste any more plastic on your dental hygiene or kitchen spills.
The toothbrush designs haven't changed since the 1930’s when plastic toothbrushes were created. Until now! Bamboo toothbrushes, the sustainable alternative. Plastic toothbrushes are almost impossible to recycle due to the use of composite plastics most, making them very hard to break apart efficiently. Every year, 3.5 billion plastic toothbrushes are thrown away, don’t add to that waste, switch to bamboo!
Our bamboo toothbrushes are plastic-free apart from the bristles. The premium quality Dupont Tynex bristles are recyclable (unlike most plastic toothbrushes). Making this switch addresses both these climate issues: Is using bamboo sustainable?
Bamboo is the fastest-growing plant on earth and once used it doesn't need to be replanted like trees, it self-regenerates. Bamboo can grow to its full size in just 3-4 months compared with trees which take around 30 years. Growing bamboo also doesn't use any nasty pesticides or chemicals.
It’s pretty simple and easy to do! The bamboo handle is 100% compostable or biodegraded in nature. Our bristles can be recycled through a Waste-to-energy scheme or plastic recycling.
Thanks to the fact that this beauty you ordered is made from natural materials, each individual toothbrush head may differ a teeny tiny bit. The easy solution is that the very first time you use the toothbrush head, go ahead and use some force to expand the material and make sure the head fits perfectly on the electronic toothbrush.
