Dit product is nog geen onderdeel van agood loop. Maar de tandenborstel kan een tweede leven krijgen als schoonmaakartikel in de badkamer of keuken. Daarna kan de steel bij het compost, en de borstelharen bij het restafval of plasticafval.
Tandzijde kan bij het compost en het kleine glazen flesje kun je steeds weer opnieuw vullen.
Dit product is bedoeld om dagelijks te gebruiken. Het is goed om je tandenborstel elke maand of elke twee maanden te vervangen voor een nieuwe, voor optimale hygiëne.

Het handvat van de tandenborstel is gemaakt van 100% bamboe met medium Tynex 612 borstelharen.
In de fabriek maakten ze de tandenborstels aanvankelijk met de hand, maar nu hebben ze delen van het proces geautomatiseerd. Ze stomen de bamboe eerst om het te drogen en om parasieten te verwijderen. Vervolgens snijden ze de bamboe in reepjes en boetseren ze de reepjes in vorm. Daarna schuren ze de bamboe handvatten glad. Ten slotte boren ze kleine gaatjes in de kop, bevestigen de nylon borstelharen en pakken de tandenborstels in.
Het handvat van onze tandenborstel kan op je composthoop worden gegooid, maar de borstelharen moeten worden weggegooid als energie-uit-afval of bij samen met plastic om te recyclen.
I've been looking for ages for an eco friendly compatible toothbrush head for ages. These fit the bill. Good fit for Oral B, tight so I had to wriggle it on, but once on great. Love that they are made from recyclable materials, so much better than chucking away plastic every couple of months. I think the heads are a better shape for cleaning teeth than the overly fancy ones sold by the big toothbrush companies - my hygienist is always complaining it's money making but not effective for cleaning teeth. Really pleased and will definitely be repurchased.

Quality manufacturing. Bristles don't pull out like some cheap (but more expensive) brushes. The bamboo wood handle absorbs water & dries very quickly too so I don't have to wipe it off after rinsing like plastic ones that leave water in the "tooth brush cup".
Good toothbrush head. Does the job. I will definitely purchase again. The only advertised option that states it fits an Oral B electric toothbrush model. I'm grateful to find a B Corp that does this and is environmentally conscious. The packaging didn't contain plastic :). There are two reasons it got 4 stars instead of 5 ( but to be clear, will happily purchase again). 1. The toothbrush head style doesn't have the circular head option of the actual oral b toothbrush replacements. This does have an impact of the toothbrush's effectiveness on your teeth. 2. I recognize the head of the toothbrush is intentionally too snug to fit the part of the electric tooth brush it attaches too. But, having to press extremely hard to get the two to connect makes me worry about damaging my electric toothbrush body. I'm sure a smoother connection can be created in the future. Lastly, can we source organic bamboo?
