Unfortunately, not everyone in the world has access to the essential dental products many of us take for granted.

That’s why we’ve partnered with the charity Global First Responder to provide dental products to those in need. So far, we’ve donated 1,500 toothbrushes to the Talibés people in Senegal, who wouldn’t otherwise have access to oral healthcare.

Globally, an estimated 2.4 billion people have little or no access to oral treatment or care, mainly in low and middle-income communities.

It’s also estimated that 2 billion adults suffer caries of their permant teeth, and 520 million children suffer caries of their primary teeth.

Why Global First Responder?

Global First Responder’s mission is to improve healthcare delivery, health education, and improvements in community infrastructure in disadvantaged communities.

It was founded by Dr. Adam Beckett, who organizes teams of volunteers to undertake vital medical work in communities that need it most. They treat people, hand out medicines and products, and, importantly, provide health education to all patients. Since it was founded in 2010, Global First Responder has worked in over 20 countries in some of the toughest conditions imaginable.
