Since the 1960s, certain plastics and epoxy resins have been made using the industrial chemical Bisphenol A. BPA is considered an endocrine disruptor - chemicals that can interfere with endocrine (or hormone) systems. These disruptions can cause cancerous tumors, birth defects, and other developmental disorders. Polycarbonate plastics, oftentimes used as food and beverage storage containers, can contain BPA as well as the epoxy resins used to coat the inside of metal products, such as food cans, bottle tops, and water supply lines. Research suggests that small amounts of BPA can seep from those sources into the food you eat and the water you drink. This is especially concerning in the case of children because chemicals that interfere with natural development, even in small doses, can have detrimental and lasting effects.

Our water bottles do not contain BPA. We know where our bottles are manufactured. We took the time to inspect the factory and had the owners sign a Code of Conduct so we could say with certainty that our bottles are safe for you and your family to drink from. We test for BPA. From the inside liner to the outside paint.
