This product is not yet part of agood loop. But our eat and carry products can live a second life, some as pea shooters, planting sticks or material for arts and crafts. They can also be thrown on the compost.
You can use and reuse them daily. Wash regularly and make sure to dry well.
So here’s the thing with the bundle discount. When we consolidate shipments, we’re achieving two goals - lessening our carbon footprint and cutting down on expenses. We believe in sharing these benefits with you. It’s simplicity itself.
We’ll always explain the climate impact of our products to help you make informed decisions. Below, we’ve listed materials, production, logistics, and end-to-life calculations. All data is verified by ClimatePartner. If there’s anything you don’t understand, don’t hesitate to ask.
End of life
The straws are made from 100% sustainably grown and harvested wheat.
The wheat stalk has always been treated as a waste product, but actually they’re perfectly designed natural straws. In our factory, they take the leftover wheat stalks from the wheat harvest and cut and boil them. That’s it. This earns farmers an extra income without the need for more agriculture.
Our straws can be used for arts and crafts projects. Afterwards, just throw them on your compost, or into waste-to-energy.
